This space is for mothers who’ve made mistakes and grown, and daughters who are becoming women with minds and voices of their own. It’s for those who understand that legacy is built in the moments, not just the milestones.
Welcome, I am LaTasha Jax your Event Curator. That's me in the middle and on both sides are my amazing daughters who inspired this movement.
Legacy in the Making is a sacred space for Black mothers and daughters to gather, reflect, and grow—together.
It is my joy to invite you into the conversation and I hope that you join us and by doing so strengthen the bond in your own mother/daughter relationship!

Join us for a lively afternoon of intimate conversation between mothers and daughters curated to stimulate conversation which inspires healing and growth in a safe and fun environment.
As an advocate for building healthy relationships and a self-love pusher, I felt a shift at the Green Table talk for mothers and their adult daughters! Pivoting to cultivating relationships instead of demanding and building a legacy for generations to come. Thank you, LaTasha, for inviting my daughter and I to the table and encouraging me to make sure I'm sharing the recipes.

The green table talk offered a safe, fun, enlightening experience for women, mothers and daughters. The conversation cards provided for discussion at each individual table allowed for us to not only get to know each other but to also hear hear different perspectives on the topic. The green table is definitely the place for you, your mother, sister and girlfriends to be.

I really love being around other encouraging, relatable and inspiring women. I felt like I was in a safe space to embrace myself for being a woman. I think this was great and I’m looking forward to next time!
